Hi, I'm Claudia Lee. I’m a pianist and music educator who finds passion in helping people realize their potential and find the joy in music.
There is music in every child. The teacher's job is to find it and nurture it.
- Francis Clark
Having received my Royal Conservatory of Music level 10 certificate and graduated York University Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours specializing in music, as well as a Bachelor of Education, I now move on to my next chapter in life. I've always enjoyed music and teaching; now I have the opportunity to combine the two, opening my own music academy as well as being a music teacher for the Toronto District School Board. I want to share the love and passion that I have for music with everyone.
As a teacher, I want to create a positive and safe space for all my students. I believe that every student is unique, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, and it is my job to cater towards their traits and guide them towards success. Learning needs to be student centered.
I chose to pursue a career in music education because I see the importance in giving future generations an education that they can remember and benefit from as they grow into adults. Music has helped me express myself in ways that no words can; I want to pass that ability on to others.
Much love,
Claudia Lee

Different levels of students require different lesson lengths. Depending on what you want to achieve, we help structure your lesson so you can reach your goal. With every new student, we can help assess their skills in practical and theory, thus allowing us to better teach the material. We teach in-studio or at the convenience of your home.
Beginner (Levels 1-3)
Starting at $30/Lesson*
We have always recommended our beginner students to start with a 30 minute lesson. This provides students with a sufficient amount of material without overwhelming them, and ensures them enough time to practice at home. Elementary theory lessons are also available. If students are interested in RCM exams, we provide instruction and preparation as well.
Lesson Materials:
John Thompson's Modern Course for the Piano - First Grade
Keyboard Theory Preparatory Book A by Grace Vandendool (for children)
or
Keyboard Theory Basic Elements by Grace Vandendool (for adults)Celebration Series Piano Repertoire and Etudes (Level 2-3)
Intermediate (Levels 4-6)
Starting at $45/Lesson*
For our intermediate students who want to take the practical RCM exams, we work with the Celebration Series books. We also offer intermediate theory lessons, which allows students to take the RCM theory exams as well. For those who want to play leisurely, intermediate students can also bring in their own piano scores to learn. Intermediate lessons usually range between 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Lesson Materials:
Celebration Series Piano Repertoire and Etudes (Level 4-6)
Elementary Music Rudiments - Intermediate by Mark Sarnecki
Advanced (Levels 7-10)
Starting at $60/Lesson*
While teaching our advanced students, we emphasize the importance of performing and musicianship. This is taught through the Celebration Series books, or through the students' own score selection. We offer advanced level theory lessons as well (history, harmony & counterpoint, and keyboard harmony).
Advanced lessons require students to already have a solid foundation in technical skills and theory
Lesson Materials:
Celebration Series Piano Repertoire and Etudes (Level 7-10)
Basic Harmony by Mark Sarnecki
Explorations 1, A Music History Overview by Janet Lopinski, Joe Ringhofer and Peteris Zarins
